This photo was inspired by a book I read as a child called “The Old Man and the Sea” by Ernest Hemingway.
When visiting the Oregon coast I’m at such peace. This beautiful photograph reminds me of my love for the sea, it allows me to hear the calm roar of waves crashing, taste the salt in the air, and the call out to the seabirds above.
I chose metallic photo paper to accentuate the color and sheen of the image. Creating a beautiful soft luster on a surface of the photograph.
