This photo is inspired by the Balinese sea gods of Tanah Lot.
Exploring the coastal temple of Tanah Lot was an awe-inspiring experience for me. This incredible temple can be found on the southern coast of Bali, perched on top of a small rock island. When I see this photograph I’m reminded of the Balinese sea gods and the symbolic relationship between the land and the sea.
I chose metallic photo paper to accentuate the color and sheen of the image. Creating a beautiful soft luster on a surface of the photograph.
