This photo is inspired by Gautama Buddha and the people who farm the sacred Tegalalang rice terrace at Gunung Kawi in Bali.
Exploring the top of the Tegalalang terrace at Gunung Kawi was pure bliss. We hiked throughout the terrace and basked in the beauty of Bali. This image is a composite of the Tegalalang rice terrace and Buddha. When I see this photograph I feel like I’ve reached Nirvana.
I chose metallic photo paper to accentuate the color and sheen of the image. Creating a beautiful soft luster on a surface of the photograph.
